* Turn west at Parkside Drive to travel down the 7 Avenue bike route.
* We plan to skate to 11 Street before turning back. You may choose to turn back early if you wish
* Expect fall debris on trails

We will be skating on the 7 Avenue road, which is a 30 km zone! Route is approximately 4.5 km. Protective gear recommended. Get crafty with your helmet and show off your creepy style!

We’re TRIPLING the size of the venue for summer roller discos and partnering with the Lethbridge Roller Derby Guild. Come roll the last Friday of each month, April to July! Roller skates and inlines welcome!
Sorry – Strollers, skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed on the skate floor at this time.

Let’s see how skateable the new Festival Square space is! If it passes the rolling test, three more events will be booked in August! (Aug. 12, 8-10 p.m.; Aug. 15, 6-8 p.m.; Aug. 26, 8-10 p.m.)

Sorry, skate loans will not be available at this first event. If the space is deemed safe for beginner skaters, loans will be offered at future events!

Safety first: At minimum, skaters should be comfortable skating forwards, can fall safely and can stop confidently. If you feel your skills aren’t skate-park-ready, come join us anyway and practice fundamentals on the nearby tennis courts!
