When skills intimidate me (like this one) I focus

When skills intimidate me (like this one) I focus on specific technique areas for 10 or so passes to help build muscle memory and confidence. For these pivots, I first focused on correct knee position. Then, I focused on turning my torso into the turn before pivoting (and correct knee position). The next few passes I pulled and held my shoulder blade toward my spine during rotations (while turning torso and holding correct knee position). The final step was putting it all together to create tighter rotations!

The last time I practiced these was at a @dylan__morton workshop. A post from @livvyskates reminded me to revisit them! Thank you for the inspiration!
