Need personalized skating instruction? Cherri is a Skate IA Certified instructor and will get you rolling with confidence! Your one-hour private lesson will be customized to your learning goals!
Cost: $20 per private session. Bring a friend for an additional $10!
Book your lesson with Cherri to learn:
- Rollerskating basics
- Navigating paths and streets with confidence
- Advanced edging and footwork
- Essential skills before visiting a skate park
- Beginner skate park techniques including:
- Navigating banks and transitions
- Pumping
- Carving

PROTECTIVE GEAR REQUIRED: Please bring a helmet, knee pads and wrist guards. Limited loaner gear available – first come, first served. You will not be allowed to participate in the lesson without the required gear.

Legacy Park Amphitheatre Parking Lot – accessible via 13 Street North.
What happens after I register?
You should receive an auto-response email from cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca confirming your registration with class details. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive an email after a few hours.
Next, you will receive a welcome email direct from your private lesson instructor Cherri, prior to first class. Cherri will ask you general questions about your experience and rollerskating goals in order to create your custom lesson. If you wish to bring a friend for an extra $10, please let Cherri know in your response.
Payment information
E-transfer to cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca 24 hours prior to your lesson. Failure to e-transfer 24 hours prior to class will result in lesson cancellation. Cancellation notification will be sent via email.
Lesson cancellation policy
If pavement is wet and/or wind exceeds 20 km/hr one hour prior to lesson start, class will be cancelled and student will be emailed rescheduling information from their instructor. Please check your email for cancellations prior to leaving for your lesson, if the weather forecast is calling for rain or wind.
Students will receive a $20 lesson credit per cancelled lesson. Students may book an additional available date with the same instructor through the registration page or request a specific rescheduling date with their instructor. Students must redeem all credits by August 31, 2025.
