By registering for your requested month, you will become a member of the Lethbridge Roller Club for that month.
Dues and Payments
Membership fee is due via e-transfer, once order confirmation is received. E-transfer information will be included on order confirmation. Membership fees are due by first skate session. Memberships are not transferable to other skaters or eligible for refund.
The registration process is in place to ensure there will be enough members to cover venue rental and associated costs. We appreciate you following through with your club membership commitment by promptly paying. If membership fees are not received by first skate session, the skater’s membership will be cancelled.
E-transfer payment is preferred to avoid handling cash at the event. If you do not have access to e-transfer, please email cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca after receiving your invoice to make special arrangements.

- All members will sign a Roller Skate Lethbridge waiver.
- Be kind.Be respectful of skaters’ personal space.
- All members will skate within their skill level.
- No food or drink on the skate floor.
- All members will work together to ensure venue cleanliness.
- Members will ensure skate equipment is in good working order, with no sharp or protruding hardware that may damage wood floors.
- Toe stops do not have exposed metal.
- Axles do not protrude out from wheels.
- Protective gear rivets and hard shell components will not snag or scratch surfaces.
- Safe behaviour is expected. RSL staff will correct and document unsafe behaviour. Continued intentional unsafe behaviour will result in the cancelling of membership with no refund. Unsafe behaviour may include, but is not limited to:
- Excessive speed
- Bumping/hitting other skaters
- Skating in the wrong direction
- Cutting across the skate floor in an unsafe manner
- Running into walls, barricades, etc.
- Harassment of other members or RSL staff
- This is an all-ages event with limited supervision. Skaters under 12 must have an adult guardian in attendance during club events. Adult guardian may attend for free, if they are not rolling.
- All youth and adult members are responsible for their own actions. Members accept and fully assume there is a potential for personal injury, injury to others, property damage and loss during Roller Club events. Members accept full responsibility for injury, damage and/or loss that may occur. Please report injury, damage or loss to RSL staff ASAP.
- We’re working together to create an affordable skate space for all. Deceitful membership activities will only hurt the collective. For example: do not send other skaters under your membership name as they have not officially agreed to member rights, responsibilities and terms. Deceitful membership activities will result in the immediate cancellation of membership with no refund.
Club Financials
Membership dues cover the cost of venue rental, insurance and other related costs.
If you have questions about how your membership fees are contributing to club events, please email cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca.
ROLLERDANCE
I’m a beginner skater. Is this class for me?
If you are a beginner, protective gear is strongly recommended (helmet, knee pads and wrist guards). Skaters should be comfortable standing on roller skates and can step in all directions. Beginner skaters are encouraged to bring a yoga mat if they desire more stability under their wheels while learning skills. However, this will limit your wheel mobility.
The class is only a half-hour. What can I expect?
Class attendees should be laced up and warmed up prior to class start time. Class registrants may arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time for lace-up and warm up, if they aren’t Roller Club members.
Each class will be themed around a specific rollerdance skill set; for example, heel and toe pivots; and skaters will learn rollerdance skills and short combinations related to the skill’s theme.
Can my child register?
Rollerdance classes include adult and youth skaters in the same class. The nature of the skill instruction is typically best suited for skaters over the age of 12. However, there can be exceptions. If you’re not sure whether your youth is suited for the class, please email cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca.
