July Youth Rollerskate Lessons (ages 6-11)

Join instructors Cherri, Bubbles and Tuezday to learn the basics of rollerskating! This introductory youth class will help you build confidence for a summer of outdoor rolling!
Classes take place outside at Legacy Park Outdoor Sports Court. See location instructions, payment information and weather-cancellation policy below.
You will learn:
- forward skating techniques
- stopping techniques
- turns and transitions
- falling safely
PROTECTIVE GEAR REQUIRED: Please bring a helmet, knee pads and wrist guards. Limited loaner gear available – first come, first served. You will not be allowed to participate in the lesson without the required gear.
ALL GUARDIANS OF YOUTH SKATERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER PRIOR TO ANY RSL EVENT. CLICK HERE TO SIGN THE WAIVER.

What happens after I register?
You should receive an auto-response email from cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca confirming your registration with class details. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive an email after a few hours.
You will receive a welcome email confirming class details 24 hours prior to first class.
Payment information
E-transfer to cherri@rollerskatelethbridge.ca by start of first class. E-transfer payments will receive email confirmation of receipt.
Lesson cancellation policy
If pavement is wet and/or wind exceeds 20 km/hr one hour prior to class start, class will be cancelled and students will be emailed rescheduling information. Please check your email for cancellations prior to leaving for your lesson, if the weather forecast is calling for rain or wind.
Students will receive a $15 course credit per cancelled class, redeemable during the next group class in the following month. Students must redeem all credits by August 9. Only August 9 registered skaters will receive a cash credit, in the event of a cancellation.
